Shortstop was born and raised on the streets of South Central Los Angeles to Monica Saunders and Lorenzo Green. His upbringing was no fairytale but was indeed interesting. His major influences were his mother, his great-grandparents and his uncle Big Draws. Shortstop learned at an early age that life wasn?t a given, and that he had to ?go get? it and he did just that. Shortstop who was a promising and outstanding athlete in both football and especially basketball played for two well known schools Crenshaw and Washington High School and worked hard to advance to greatness.

His fatherly influence came from the cold hard streets and his beloved great grandfather. The nickname T.D. or Tiny Draws comes from his uncle Big Draws who had made a name and reputation on the streets of Los Angeles which resulted in him being incarcerated for a long period in the California state correctional system.

Shortstop was born into one of the strongest families to come out of streets gangs, the Rollin? Sixty?s, and shortstop was a natural at his newly found occupation and quickly made a name for himself in the streets of Los Angeles. Although the neighborhood he grew up in was not the neighborhood he hung out in, he found a way to make the cross town rivalries both a place called home. His hang out was where he got his inspiration and influence to become a prolific lyricist. Street influences and family hardships lead to shortstop expressing his thoughts and emotions on paper. His style is matched by no other, and his lyrics are self orientated. T.D. began his music career when he was of the tender age of 14.Through the strong leadership and mentorship of several family members and freinds; shortstop has been seen performing at clubs in Las Vegas, opening shows for Bones, Thugs & Harmony, Kurupt, and more.

As he climbs the ranks of success mixing his versatile sound and lyrics in with artist such as Sony Label artist Nipsey Hussle, the Slauson Boyz, Pooh Bear, SNOOP DOG and he has forthcoming singles with Akon and Kelly Rowland. T.D.?s library of sound has musical hits from producers like L.T. Hutton and various other producers. Shortstop has been cast in his first movie. The title is unreleased and is coming to theaters soon and has did other extra roles including the television show Life and Bone thugs movie i tried.he also is into writing his own movies and scripts and is headed in the right direction and his focus for success.and Dubia on a new track. Also included on the record are Crooked Eye, Freeway. Big Trick and more . He also has been casted on an unreleased movie coming soon to theaters.
